Ferron Malek-I aka Tjax was born in a small town in Manchester Jamaica.  Music has been an integral part of Ferron’s life. Growing up in Jamaica, his childhood was filled with reggae festivals and family gatherings, all rich with the sweet sounds of Caribbean island and reggae music. From a very early age, he had an ear for music, to the delight of those around him Ferron showed promising talent as he was able to perform songs after hearing them played just once. The island provided young Ferron with not only strong foundation for music, but also provided roots in his purpose, character, and moral foundation.
